B.A., B.Ed, Diploma in Textile Design, Faculty Development Program from NID. She has taught at NID in the area of Textile and Apparel Design before moving to IICD as one of the founding faculty members. She is the Ex Dean Academics of IICD and has been involved with IICD since the inception of the education program in 1999. She has more than 27 years of experience of teaching and working in the area of Craft & Design, has done several projects with the Khadi and NGO sector and also in the craft retail sector with organizations like Fab India, Rajasthali, and The Palace Atelier, at the MSMS II Museum, City Palace, Jaipur. She is passionate about interacting with young students and helps them develop into great catalysts and change agents for the craft sector during their tenure at IICD. Her current area of interest is to work in the area of Sustainability and Sustainable Development.
