Dr. Neha Purohit has been associated with language teaching for the last 16 years. She completed her PhD on postmodern Indian drama with a focus on Ideology and Identity in the plays of Mahesh Dattani. Her M.Phil. research focuses on teaching pedagogy in the English language classroom. She is a member of Toastmasters International, USA and holds a certification as a competent communicator. She is a speaking examiner for BEC (Preliminary) conducted by Cambridge University Press, India. She has received various awards including first prize in elocution in the teachers’ category by the Institution of Engineers, Rajasthan Chapter. Her areas of interest are: Contemporary Indian drama, Gender Studies and English Language Teaching and has published papers in theses domains in the journals of repute. At present she is a Professor and Head at the Department of English, SKIT, Jaipur.
